Braelyn Barber

Braelyn Barber joins the FVP coaching staff this season as an assistant with the 13 Regional team, bringing with her eight years of experience as an FVP athlete. A Neenah native and senior at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, Braelyn has played 13 seasons of club and school volleyball and has experience at nearly every position on the court, including defensive specialist, libero, setter, outside hitter and right side.

During her high school career, Braelyn helped lead both the JV2 and JV1 teams to conference championships. One of her favorite club accomplishments came with the FVP 17/18 Regional team, which finished third at the Badger Region Championships in the 18s Badger Division.

After spending the past eight years as an athlete at FVP, Braelyn is excited to experience the club from a new perspective as a coach. She especially enjoys watching young athletes grow, both in their volleyball skills and as individuals. Her advice to athletes is simple: Give 100% effort in everything you do so you never have to look back with regret.

Outside of volleyball, Braelyn is active in track and field, Perspective, Peer Leadership Group and National Honor Society. She enjoys reading, going to church, swimming, spending time at her family's cabin up north and watching NFL football on Sundays. The oldest of six children, Braelyn also shares her home with 11 chickens!
