Kera Daun returns to FVP for her third season of coaching, joining the Boys 15/16 Regional team. Originally from Baraboo and now living in Kaukauna, Kera is excited to return to the boys side of the program after enjoying a season coaching with the girls program last year.
One of Kera’s favorite parts of coaching is seeing the growth that happens throughout a season and watching athletes continue to develop during their time with FVP. She encourages players not to dwell on mistakes, reminding them that what happened on the last point doesn’t matter. Keep moving forward, focus on the next ball, and look for ways to improve.
Kera especially values the community she has found at FVP. She loves being part of a club where coaches, athletes, and families support one another and is excited to see that community continue to grow.
Outside of volleyball, Kera works as a service coordinator for a local air compressor maintenance company while completing her bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. She also sells her crochet creations at local craft fairs and enjoys camping and spending time with family.
Kera lives with her husband, Adam, and their long-haired calico cat, Diva. She’s currently training to run her first half marathon next May and is a huge Halloween fan. In fact, Adam proposed to her at Fright Fest at Six Flags!
