Katelyn Schneider

Katelyn Schneider joins FVP’s 15/16 Regional team for her first season as a coach. An Oshkosh native, Katelyn played both high school and club volleyball, competing for Oshkosh North High School and clubs throughout the Fox Cities. She played middle and right side, with some of her favorite volleyball memories coming from winning at Badger Region and competing at Nationals.

Katelyn is especially excited to begin her coaching career with FVP, a club she knows firsthand after playing for FVP during her 16s season. She looks forward to learning and growing as a coach while sharing her love of volleyball with the next generation of athletes.

Her coaching philosophy is centered on helping players improve while making sure they continue to enjoy the game. She wants athletes to build their skills, confidence, and love for volleyball along the way. Her advice to every player is simple: “Be kind to your mind!”

This season, Katelyn is most looking forward to meeting her team, building relationships with her players, and gaining experience as a coach.

Outside of volleyball, Katelyn loves shopping and staying active. Pickleball and Pilates are two of her favorite activities. She also has two pets with a perfectly matched pair of names: a dog named Bear and a cat named Moose. And when she isn’t on the court or staying active, you might find her diving into anything true crime.
